Hi, my name is Katie Carey. Welcome to my little sliver of the internet: my death and dying blog, from the perspective of someone who is still very much alive (well, that's sort of debatable).

Ever since I was young I've been told I have a talent and knack for writing. And ever since I was young, I've had a fascination, curiosity with and acceptance of death. Flash forward 29 years, and you've got one crazy bitch who is ready to unleash her ideas and life experiences with the world.

I've started this blog to share a plethora of things, from topics of death and dying (obviously), death acceptance and death positivity, herbs and different healthy modalities of living, musings, teachings and philosophizing of things I have experienced in my life, and the occasional silly story of mine. I'm excited for you to get to know me through my work. Overall, I hope this is a platform where I can educate, uplift, inspire, relate to and make y'all laugh. And showcase my exceptional writing and storytelling skills, obvi.
